Dust off those dancing shoes and join us at the Royal Engineers Museum for an evening full of energetic swing dancing in celebration of World Lindy Hop Day and as part of the annual Museums at Night festival. This evening looks to be an entertaining and fun night appealing to dancers and non-dancers alike.
Kick off the evening with a sensational lindy hop lesson led by Medway Lindy Hopper instructors then dance the night away to the sound of the swing Big Band. Listen to the delightful voices of ‘Susie Q’s’. Witness incredible performances by Medway Lindy Hoppers. Browse the in-house vintage market for those all-important vintage and retro clothes and accessories. Have your hair whipped up into a vintage style and finish of the look with vintage makeup (additional charge). Sip tea and eat cakes in our popup vintage Dottie’s Tearoom (additional charge).
