Ben My Chree – Pioneer Aircraft Carrier

The Isle of Man ferry ‘Ben My Chree’ has a special place in naval history as the first aircraft carrier to launch a successful aerial torpedo attack in 1915. The lecture will cover her conversion, her active and wide ranging career and her sad loss to Turkish artillery in 1917. You will also get to ask Eric any questions that you might have at the end of the talk.
