Alan Dowdell, former chairman of the Andover Astronomical Society and a well-known speaker on astronomical topics and a member of the BAA council will be giving a talk on ‘Observing the Planets’. If the skies are clear there will be a wonderful opportunity to observe Jupiter which will be high in this sky and a half moon. Using the telescopes is weather permitting as it requires a clear night. Ticket includes light refreshments. Contact venue for updated times.
