Jug

Jug of flattened spherical form with cylindrical neck and projecting lip and loop handle. The brown glaze of the jug is transfer printed in yellow resist with a circular panel on each side; one depicting Lord Nelson and the other depicting Lord Collingwood, each pane is surrounded on either side by branches of laurel leaves and berries, below each on a band describing each portrait is 'Lord Nelson' and 'Lord Collingwood'. The cylindrical neck is decorated with shells and fronds of seaweed also transfer printed in yellow resist. Size: Height: 10.5 cm
