This item was on loan to Beamish for many years from York Castle Museum, but was officially transferred to us in February 1998. Air brake fitted. 62 seats., , In service 1952 - 60. Privately preserved until 1973., , , , Presented to Castle Museum, York, but no suitable accommodation available. Arrived Beamish, 1976, restored between 1978 - 83.
