three epaulettes of the German Police; mounted on white card with typed script on feint paper stuck onto card; left and right epaulettes mounted one above the other, made of brown cottton bands with silver coloured stitching and green edge; to the right of the top epaulette is written 'from Lt. Col. J.G.A. Bickford R.A.'; underneath is the following information 'This denotes a junior rank in the service of the German Schutz Polizei (Schpo) regular uniformed urban police.'; beneath this is mounted the third epaulette, this has two stars and a white and brown band on the basic epaulette; benmeath this is the following information 'This denotes a junior with four years service in the Schutz Polizei a Wachtmeister i.e., Corporal. The two stars are spurious and in addition are at a wrong angle.'
