THE HIGH BRIDGE OVER THE WITHAM, LINCOLN

A view from the east along the River Witham towards High Bridge. The obelisk standing on the bridge, built in 1762, was removed in 1939, and re-erected in St.Mark's Square in the late 1990s. There are 3 figures on a barge moored in the foreground.
