Stone Base

This is probably a statue base. The top is damaged but has the letters "IOM". The inscription reads: "To Jupiter best and greatest of Doliche for the welfare of the companies of the Sixth Victorious Legion of the army of each Germany, under Marcus Lollius Ventator, centurion of the Second Augustan Legion". This was discovered at Piercebridge Roman Fort.
