Ring, 1750

Ring English, 1750 Gold, Glass and Enamel Width: 2.1 cm The crown hinges upwards to reveal a small glazed area containing a lock of hair. Reputedly that of Charles Edward Stuart, the Young Pretender. The hair is shown against a piece of purple silk.
