Blade fitted with a carved bog-oak handle, the top set with an oval pink Scottish stone, the carved wood simulating rope twists mounted centre front with a countess' coronet in silver gilt. The blade fits into a leather sheath mounted at either end in silver gilt, at the top with a cartouche of scrolls, thistles and foliage in an oval panel surrounded by scrolls engraved with the initials 'J.M.B.'. Size: Length: 19.2 cm.
