Diana with nymph, bathing

This mythological scene is probably a nineteenth-century work imitating the style of the Ferrarese painter Girolamo da Carpi. The crescent moon, the quiver and the arrows are the attributes of the hunting goddess Diana, who is also identified with the moon goddess, Luna or Selene. Size: 120.7 x 167.1 cm.
