St. Jerome and St. Ambrose

St. Jerome, dressed in a cardinal's robes, is writing. His inkholder is tied of his left wrist. He looks up as St. Ambrose speaks to him. Ambrose wears a bishop's mitre and a cope over a white rochet, and holds up a book with his left hand. The two saints are represented against a tooled gold background. Size: 120.7 x 87.6 cm.
