Oil on canvas. This painting of a fishmonger’s shop by the Swiss-born artist Jacques-Laurent Agasse was exhibited at the Royal Academy in London in 1842. It may depict a scene at Hungerford Market in London, which once stood on the site now occupied by Charing Cross station.
