St. John the Baptist

The saint is shown threequarters length, seated and nude from the waist upwards, except for his left shoulder which is covered. His right arm is stretched across his body, with the hand pointing to a cross with a scroll hanging from it inscribed ECCE AGNUS DEI. His left hand holds the cross lower down. At the left is the head of a lamb. Size: 101.6 x 78.3 cm
