Oval portrait of a lady with centre parting in her curled auburn hair which is decorated with an ornament of gold and pearls and a spray of blue flowers. She wears a white muslin Empire dress with a circular neck-line and below its bodice a blue ribbon, and a three-stranded pearl necklace round her neck. The background is grey. In an oval gilt metal frame itself within an oblong composition frame. Size: Height: 7 cm; Width: 5.5 cm.
