A Neolithic polished flint axe, in mint condition, made of a creamy white flint. One face curves outwards and the other curves slightly inwards. It is 9.3cm long; 4.3cm wide and 2.3cm thick. The butt of the axe is rounded, there are no sides, but a symmetrical working edge. It was found under a flagged floor at Harwood, and donated to the Museum.
